Associates of a nearby motorcycle company had followed the calamity, according to the Disaster Protection and Office for Fire. The bikers removed the balloon from the heap using a rope and secured it to a tree. They got the passengers safely to the coast. The balloon was retrieved from the Danube that night by the water authority, the waterway management, and the German Life-Saving Association (DLRG).

“It was a crucial position,” a DLRG agent told BR when requested. In such a case, one could express that life was in trouble. Nevertheless, the constituents of the motorcycle company did a “fantastic job” and the saviors quickly got the problem under management.

According to information, the balloon struck a tree during launch, hurting the outer skin. The 61-year-old balloon head then made a steady trouble lighting in the Danube, according to authorities. Passers-by contacted the fire division, which then warned the water rescue assistance, according to the DLRG spokesman.

Police study “like after traffic accident”

Shipping gridlock on the Danube was not impacted by the calamity. Nevertheless, the police are now studying fear of negligent bodily injury – but this is a “routine process like after traffic mishap,” the police spokesman emphasized.

No injuries

According to reports, no one was harmed in the casualty, according to the authority. The mishap also did not influence shipping. The traffic resumed unchecked. The police dispatched smaller amusement ships to the opposing bank. “Drive gradually past. There’s been a misfortune,” an official was heard shouting to a home who were journeying towards the municipality in a boat.

On the opposing bank, a few individuals watched the process – among them citizens who ran to help the wounded.
